The Committee on Bioethics is organising jointly with the OECD, a Round Table on “Neurotechnologies and human rights” which will be held on online on 9 November 2021
| We are pleased to invite you at the Round Table “Neurotechnologies and Human Rights Framework: Do We Need New Rights?”? online on Tuesday 9 November 2021 (10.00 – 17.00 CEST).
The event is co-organised by the Council of Europe and the OECD, with the participation of UNESCO. It is held in the context of the launch of the Council of Europe Strategic Action Plan on Human Rights and Technologies in Biomedicine (2020-2025) and the implementation of the 2019 OECD Recommendation on Responsible Innovation in Neurotechnology.
The discussion of the Round Table will tackle the most pertinent questions raised with application of neurotechnologies in medical and non-medical fields from the standpoint of human rights, such as Privacy, Freedom, Integrity and Non-discrimination.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter à la Table ronde “Neurotechnologies et cadre des droits de l’homme : Do We Need New Rights ?” en ligne le mardi 9 novembre 2021 (10.00 – 17.00 CEST).
Cet événement est co-organisé par le Conseil de l’Europe et l’OCDE, avec la participation de l’UNESCO. Il se tient dans le contexte du lancement du Plan d’action stratégique du Conseil de l’Europe sur les droits de l’homme et les technologies en biomédecine (2020-2025) et de la mise en œuvre de la recommandation de l’OCDE de 2019 sur l’innovation responsable en neurotechnologie.
Les discussions de la Table ronde aborderont les questions les plus pertinentes soulevées par l’application des neurotechnologies dans les domaines médicaux et non médicaux du point de vue des droits de l’homme, tels que la vie privée, la liberté, l’intégrité et la non-discrimination.
De plus amples informations sont disponibles sur l’événement, y compris le rapport du Conseil de l’Europe sur les défis communs en matière de droits de l’homme posés par les différentes applications des neurotechnologies dans le domaine biomédical, le programme de l’événement et le formulaire d’inscription.
