 3. The international department of ENM France is pleased to invite you to attend a civil law training cycle. This cycle is oriented for foreign judges and jurists and will take place online from 29 March 2021 to 16 April 2021.

This cycle includes three successive trainings, which can also be followed independently:

1-      Legal liability protection and contract law – from Monday 29 March to Friday 4 April 2021 ( agenda attached)
The growing complexity of regulations and the proliferation of disputes both require a rigorous approach to the legal issues raised by contracts in business relationships.
From a presentation of contract law and the specificities of business relations, the participants will discuss the adaptation of business contracts taking into account current risks, as well as the role of the judge, through interventions by practitioners (magistrates, lawyers, notaries) and professors, illustrated with practical cases and examples.

2-      Intellectual property – from Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 April 2020 Intellectual property ( agenda attached)
Intellectual property cases have been growing in scale : how to deal with them? How to deal with the new litigation incidents linked to the development of digital technology and the Internet?
This training course will enable participants to learn the developments in case law and regulations in intellectual property law and to provide them with a better understanding of the impact, in particular on the strategies of economic actors.

3-      Family disputes and international law – from Monday 12 to Friday 16 April 2020
The couples’ geographic mobility has generated new types of cross-border disputes. In order to counter these situations, private international law has adopted specific rules in family law.
This session will allow participants to acquire a better knowledge of European and international regulations applicable in family law area and to understand the concerns of managing these legally complex and humanly delicate situations.

If you would like to register to one, two or all the training sessions, please apply before Friday 5 March 2021 for the first one, before Friday 12 March 2021 for the second one, and before Friday 19 March 2021 for the third one, by contacting Ms. Emilie Breyne (emilie.breyne@justice.fr).

The trainings will take place on Voiceboxer or Classilio  and will be held in French and English.

The participants will be contacted two weeks before the beginning of each session by mail to receive their identification details and link.
