Objective
The aim of this event is to present the EU Savings and Investments Union strategy, its aims and envisaged initiatives, as well as their implications for the current financial system.
Although non-legislative measures proposed under the SIU will be addressed, the conference focuses on the foreseen legislative actions and their impact on the regulatory framework in EU financial markets and banking sector and their future implications. Key topics to be discussed at the event include: the foundations, legal architecture and aspired goals of the EU SIU, retail participation in capital markets, banking and the SIU, market integration in the EU and the SIU and supervisory architecture’s contribution to integration.
