The Committee on Bioethics is organising jointly with the OECD, a Round Table on \u201cNeurotechnologies and human rights\u201d<\/strong><\/a> which will be held on online<\/strong> on 9 November 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are pleased to invite you at the Round Table<\/strong> \u201cNeurotechnologies and Human Rights Framework: Do We Need New Rights?<\/strong>\u201d?<\/a> online on Tuesday 9 November 2021 (10.00 \u2013 17.00 CEST).<\/p>\n

The event is co-organised by the Council of Europe and the OECD, with the participation of UNESCO. It is held in the context of the launch of the Council of Europe Strategic Action Plan on Human Rights and Technologies in Biomedicine<\/a> (2020-2025) and the implementation of the 2019 OECD Recommendation on Responsible Innovation in Neurotechnology<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The discussion of the Round Table will tackle the most pertinent questions raised with application of neurotechnologies in medical and non-medical fields from the standpoint of human rights, such as Privacy, Freedom, Integrity and Non-discrimination.<\/p>\n

Les discussions de la Table ronde aborderont les questions les plus pertinentes soulev\u00e9es par l’application des neurotechnologies dans les domaines m\u00e9dicaux et non m\u00e9dicaux du point de vue des droits de l’homme, tels que la vie priv\u00e9e, la libert\u00e9, l’int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et la non-discrimination.<\/p>\n
